There is a limited number of university scholarships for excellent students available. They cover fully or partly the costs of living. There are no tuition fees for Czech study programmes. Applicant for the Czech study programme must pay an administration fee covering expenses related to the process of admission. The administration fee is 500 CZK.

There are tuition fees of 5.300 EUR per year for study programmes in foreign language. Applicant for foreign language study programme must pay an administration fee covering expenses related to the process of admission. The administration fee is 500 CZK.
Please read carefully the following information before filling in Preliminary Registration Form (PAF) and Complete Application Form (CAF) and/or university application e-form.
Preliminary registration form (PAF) is an electronic registration of applicants for study at UWB in study programmes with INTERSTUD scholarship support. This is not equal to a regular application but necessary to fill in for those who want to get the INTERTUD scholarship support. It will be later supplemented by the regular application represented by Complete application form (CAF) and/or university application e-form and other obligatory documents.
Complete application form (CAF) is a detailed electronic application form or paper application form requiring more details about your study background. For detailed information see the faculty office.
University application e-form is an application form designed for all applicants (not only for the applicants with INTERSTUD scholarship support).
For applicants for study programmes with INTERSTUD scholarship support is recommended to fill in both: CAF and university application e-form.
All enclosed documents (in paper form for CAF, electronic for PAF) must be originals or certified copies and must be sent to faculty office in Czech or English language. You can find more information in PDF format.

The application can only be considered after the fee has been received. It is obligatory to send a confirmation of fee payment. Please send it scanned to the e-mail: studfs@email.cz and to e-mail address of relevant faculty.
The entrance committee can suggest level of university scholarship up to 4000 CZK per month in the first year of study for some courses. The scholarship support depends on the level of Czech language preparation of the student!
Every semester, student must submit a request for scholarship for next semester. In the request student states his study results; the results must be confirmed by study department of particular faculty.
It is strongly recommended to apply for a visa as soon as a student gets the decision about admission on study at the UWB!
Please be aware that you should be in the Czech Rep. for beginning of the Czech language intensive course! Participation on this course is obligatory for INTERSTUD students!
The successful applicants become UWB students on the day on which they appear in the Dean’s Office at Univerzitni 8, Pilsen, and register for the study programme to which they have been admitted. The registration dates will be announced in the letter confirming the applicant’s admission to UWB.
As UWB cannot cover the cost of the students’ medical treatment, applicants are advised to make the arrangements themselves.
According to Czech law, it is necessary that all foreign students of the University of West Bohemia present at the beginning of their studies (or during the first year of their studies at the latest) documents proving nostrification of their previous study degrees.
Students who fail to present these documents will not be issued their Bachelor/Master diploma at the University of West Bohemia.
Students in Bachelor programme must present nostrification of their secondary school leaving exam. Students in Master programme must present nostrification of their Bachelor degree.
Nostrification documents (which approve that the applicant’s previous study degrees are equal to Czech ones) are issued in the Czech Republic by the Regional Authority (nostrification of secondary school leaving exam) in the student’s place of residence and by the relevant faculty (nostrification of Bachelor degree).
